Alrighty then! Well here i am, on post number four, of my blog. Now, Im gonna get right to the point here. My girlfriend (The very girl I went out with over the weekend) is an amazing writer, and i recently asked her if i could put her stories into my blog and have it as her own lil section. She, being the awsome girl that she is, allowed me to. So... well heres number one of her chronicles.
It had been an oasis in a sea of turmoil, something beautiful amidst the ugly. Fro three days, life had been so wonderful. She had been completely and utterly... content. All this passed through her mind as she stood among a couple hundred of her classmates. Various names, faces stood out to her, but it was better if she closed in on herself. Then she wouldn't hear the vulgar language, the horrid topics.
Her weekend felt like a dream now, blowing away on the wings of the oncoming storm. She tried to remember the weekend, to lose herself in her memories, but they were so far away at the moment. How could total bliss fade to something such as this?
There. She had latched onto a memory. She could see his face in her mind, smiling at her. The world around her faded away slowly, gradually. She was lying on the floor again, at her friend's house. His fingers gently stroked her hair, and she smiled at him, eyes slowly closing as she relaxed. She couldn't look him in the eyes; her emotions would overpower her if she did so. At that point in time, she hadn't trusted herself to believe her instincts. What if she was wrong? What if she got hurt again?
The world faded back into focus. The line was moving forward, the call for more people being issued. She inwardly groaned. It was crowded enough where she was. By some miracle, she had progressed inside the building. She leaned against the wall, glorying in the air conditioning. Only a little bit longer now...
Again her mind drifted. He was being so sweet to her, it was nearly unbearable. Right now it was a beacon of hope in the boredom. To her, it appeared that they were exactly what the other needed. She was there for him whenever he needed; he would treat her as she properly deserved. Even if it didn't last, at least they had had this.
She smiled. This... dream of a weekend had to be real. It was the only thing keeping her from depressing herself right now. She could not wait until the school day ended, so that she could talk to him. For now, all she could do was write, and wait for the day's end to approach.

No longer a jellyfish
Alright well, as of this weekend, I am officially no longer a jellyfish that is the scale of dating. For those of you who dont understand what I am talking about, allow me to explain. A group of friends of mine and I are creating a scale. I was the bassis of this scale, simply because I refused to show emotion towards girls, out of a raw and irrational fear of messing up in someway and looking like a complete idiot.
Ok... so mabey "irrational" isnt the right word... I'm about as good with the ladies as a mentaly challenged sea sponge. And, in case you were wondering, thats number one on our scale. It took me months to tell one particular girl that i even liked her! I know, its sad, and funny. But I have slowly grown, and have finally made the leap and asked a girl out. This would make me about a four on the scale.

How "B-rad" came about.
Alright, well I realize that I'll probobly get all kinds of questions about where "B-rad" came from, so i guess I might as well tell you all now, before i get said questions.
Well, back in third or fourth grade, under a hot pavillion waiting for the neuscance that is P.E., a close friend of mine, William, realized something: just about all of our names ("our" refering to the closely knit pac of friends we had made) could be changed into sentances through a simple bit of letter pronunciation. His for example, could easily change into "Will-i-am". Mine on the other hand, was able to be changed into "B-rad" (pronounced "be rad"). It seemed to be of little importance that day, but as it would turn out, a few years later I mentioned it to my youthgroup, and I quickly became known as "B-rad"
This, however is not where the story ends. Being proud of my knewly formed nick-name, i told it to a friend of mine that I had made a school-transfer later, and he quickly shared it with most of my grade. Now, I can honestly say that I am not very high up on the social latter that is the zoo known as the "clicks". I am but a humble band-member. But, the name being new and different, the more popular kids quickly dubbed me with the name as well, and am therefore known as "B-rad"

Well... the beginning
Alright, well, considering this is my first blog, I suppose i should start off with telling a bit of myself. Well, I like to believe im a fairly understanding gent (hehe... gent... funny word) who is willing to listen, but, like most people, doesnt always agree. For the most part I like to make people laugh. I have a file on the acclaimed site "youtube" that normally involves comedy acts, or just random stupid stuff. I guess im pretty funny overall, otherwise I probobly wouldnt try to make people laugh.
Not only do I enjoy laughter, Im very musically oriented. I've been in my school band (the name of which shall remain known only by myself, and those who read my blogs that know me personally) four three years, and am now moving into my fourth. I am a percussionist, meaning i play the drums. Well, to say the drums isnt neccassarily true. I play also things such as piano, xylophone, marimba, tamborine, chimes, triangel... im ranting now... i guess u guys get the point.
Speaking of music, Ive recently taken up Bass Guitar. Im saving up for one, but my parents have promised me one for my birthday (which shall also remain unknown to those that dont know me personally, though I'll probobly reveal it to you all eventually) but, I figure saving up will make it happen a bit sooner.
I guess thats enough for most of you to read at the moment, so I shall return in the marrow for more on... well whatever comes to mind I suppose, hehe.
