A bass guitar set

Ok well... I did some more research on my behalf, and decided that there is NO way my parents are going to get me a bass guitar unless its dirt cheap, and part of a set. Though it pains me to do this, im going to ask my parents to get this set for me. From the reviews ive read on the set, its a decent bass that buzzes ever so often. Also its a good beginner bass. So... pray that my parents listen to me on this one... *rubs temples*

How to fly a helicopter

1. On your left-hand side there is a lever called the collective pitch stick. This adjusts the main rotors so that the helicopter can move up and down. It also has a twisting handle that controls the engine's speed. By increasing the lift and the engine speed at the same time you will make the helicopter rise off the ground

2. Directly in front of you is a joystick called the cyclic pitch. This makes the main rotor tilt so that it can pull the helicopter backward, forward, or sideways. Move the joystick in the direction you wish to travel.

3. At your feet are pedals that control the tail rotor. Use these to spin the helicopter in any direction.

GRRRR!!!! i am soooo annoyed right now... well, the thing is, my parents promised me a bass guitar for my birthday. Now, I love my parents and all, and i know that they'll stick to their word 99 our of 100 times, but 2 months have gone by, and we havent even browsed in a music-related shop for it. Ya, i know that that makes me sound like a spoiled brat, but thats not where the story ends.

Ya see, my younger brother's birthday has just gone by and my parents are getting him a new PS2!!! They even went to a wallmart (the nearest one to us is like... accross town) to check out the price on a PS2 just yesterday!!! Now, obviously that gets me REALLY pissed, but hey, its his birthday! Put a smile on! its not a penny comming out of my pocket right? And I'll even get a PS2 for my own room! But then my mom has the brilliant idea to get him a PS3!! And that gets me thinking, shes willing to get that little punk a $500 gaming station but shes never willing to even take me to some music shop that apparently doesnt rip you off??Thankfully she hasnt actually bought it yet so i cant be completely annoyed right? Well she then has the nerve to suggest that i chip in for it!!

COME ON!!!! I put at least four hours of my own time to research on cheap bass guitars and amps that actually work. I did everything possible to save the money i made on my birthday without seeming cheap, so i could chip in for the bass guitar my parents said they would get for me, and oh how well that went. All i have left from the $104 i got is a twenty dollar bill!! I had to go to 12 different sites to find something that didnt completely suck, and that wasnt 300 dollars! GAH!! sigh... i love my parents and all, but sometimes... ugh...

Well ive written a song, which is basically just an add on to my last one. personally i think its a lot better that "If Only" but i guess thats for you guys to decide. I plan on eventually putting the song on youtube so... ull get to hear it then i guess. And btw i dont think its finished just yet so if it sounds like its lacking something, thats why

how to do an ollie

1. As you skate, place your back foot on the tail (back) of the board, and your front foot halfway between the nose (front) of the board and tail.

2. Crouch down in readiness to jump. Push down on the tail with your back foot.

3. Now straiten your legs, effectively jumping into the air. The downward force of the tail will make the board come up with your front foot.

4. As the board rises, slide your front foot toward the nose. Then, with that foot, push down the nose.

5. Lift your other foot to allow the tail to rise as the downward force is applied to the nose.

6. The board will now be level as you reach the peak of the jump. Then gravity takes hold, and you and the board come down.

7. As you descend, bend you legs again, to absorb the impact of landing.

Death by basketball?

Ok, i reaize the title is odd, and your probobly thinking this has to do with the news. Well ya know what? your not gonna find this story anywhere else but here so i suggest you keep reading. Alright well, here's the scoop.

My parents decided to go on a romantic cruise (ugh... visions in my head that DO NOT NEED TO BE THERE!!!!!) without me and my younger brother. Now, about halfway in their cruise, the ship docked at Jamaica. My step-dad, being the sports fanatic that he is, decided to stay on ship and play some basketball. He is a very carefull guy, and not at all a halfwit like many kids might expect. But, today was going to be odd for him.

Well, the basketball court was on top of the cruise ship, and, needless to say, was surrounded fairly well by a fence of netting. This was mostly true in all areas, except in one particular area just above the metal fence that held the gate in place to get in. There was about a foot of space between the fence and the net. He went for a jump-shot, the ball bounced off the backboard, bounced away, and went right in the space!

Thats not at all where it ends, the ball bounced a few times on each deck, and eventually landed in the dock. Needless to say, my step-dad is horrified. He ran down to the lowest deck to see if he could see the ball and couldnt find it. All of the sudden he hears a voice yelling at him. It was a man on another cruise ship! Litterally about a hundred yards from where my step-dad was standing!

The man kept shouting and pointing down to tell him that it went... well, down. Of course my step-dad is totally freaking out at this point. Worried that he couldve just taken someone out via basketball. There really wasnt much he could do, so he went to his cabin and contemplated on what might come of this incident. Fortunately though, nothing very eventfull happend to him and (praise God) he was not arrested for possibly killing someone.

Basically, it means that every saturday, i plan on posting a new topic on how to do something completely random, yet totally interesting. Well... to some people at least.
